The Spiritual GPS Podcast

What is Truth and How to Know What is YOUR Truth.

Dana McLean Episode 37

This is a discussion on what truth is, how I went down the rabbit hole to find out what truth really means and a wonderful message from spirit about truth and things we can do to help us understand how to find our personal truth, why others try to sway us from our personal truths and what we can do about it.

There is a distinct definition between True and Truth. True refers to a a fact where truth refers to a belief made from those facts. True is objective and without emotional attachment where truth is formatted from emotion and experiences.

The definition of true:
Accurate or Exact

The definition states truth is :
That which is true or in accordance with fact or reality
A fact of belief that is accepted as true.

How does one decide what is the truth when there are so many choices and truths out there.

The thing is, what we perceive to be true becomes our reality.

Our Perception is our reality

So what is the definition of perception?

The ability to see, hear or become aware ofd something through the senses.

A way of regarding, understanding or interpreting something.

When we take in information we use our experience to interpret what we are witnessing and what we are feeling.

You could say that our truth comes from emotions and memories that are created from our experience in conjunction with the facts presented and each individual could have a different perception of the same set of facts.

So, there is this fact/perception/emotion/truth, loop we find ourselves in.

How do you get out of this loop if you are feeling that you are stuck or confused with what you feels true or untrue?

The best way to do this is to go within and work on the dramas and traumas you carry around within yourself that create your perception of the facts.

Your truth is in this very moment you are in.
